Dr. Edwards purchased each of us a tram ticket to take the tram into Athens. The tram was built in 2004 for the Olympics and the city just decided to keep it up to use for public transportation. The tram may sound super awesome (it did to me at first), but I am here to say it is pretty awful. It took us am hour to go about fifteen miles. There is not much air conditioning. And it is SUPER crowded. Once we arrived in downtown Athens, we got to see the Hellenic Parliament and watch the show that they preform every hour to the tomb of the unknown solider. Then we went shopping and I bought some awesome Greek sandals!Once we got back to Glyfada, we had our first youth devotional at the church. It was very sucessful. We met a lot of kids and had about 25 people in attendance. All in all, it was a pretty successful day!
OK....so where are the sandles? Love u
